Neuropsychological Evaluations

A Person-Centered Approach

At Developmental Neuropsychology Associates, we believe that every individual is more than just test scores. Our person-centered approach ensures that we build each evaluation around the unique needs of the person and their family, rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.

What Makes Our Evaluations Different?

Flexible, Referral-Driven Testing

We design a customized testing battery based on the primary referral question—what are the key challenges and concerns? We look beyond labels and diagnoses to truly understand the individual’s cognitive, emotional, and academic profile.

Building Trust & Comfort

We recognize that testing can be overwhelming, so we prioritize rapport-building to create a comfortable, low-stress environment. The way a person approaches testing is just as important as their performance, and we take the time to observe and understand those nuances.

Beyond the Four Walls of Testing

A true understanding of an individual extends beyond the testing room. That’s why we spend considerable time talking with families about what  happens at home, in school, and in real-world situations. We collaborate with educators, therapists, and other specialists to gain a comprehensive view of strengths and challenges.

The Brain in a

Developmental Context

Understanding how the brain works is a powerful tool for growth. We help families and individuals make sense of their brain function in the context of their developmental stage, so they leave with the clarity, confidence, and next steps they need.

Desert Road

A Clear Roadmap for

the Future

Our goal isn’t just to give families a report—it’s to give them a plan. Our feedback sessions are designed to be informative and empowering. We walk both parents and the individual through the results in a way that makes sense, ensuring they understand their unique strengths and areas for support.
